Angus' Mom here: I think Angus is having some hairball problems..he coughs like he wants to hak up a hairball after eating, but nothing comes up, has been very close to me or lying in places other than his usual spots, he's not eaten today, nor taken any water. I've managed to get him to take a few Temptations, but at this hour, 3:20 Central, he's refusing them. I've put several coats of petroleum jelly (the active ingredient in hairball remedies) on his paws and lips but have seen no result yet.
I would deeply appreciate your purrs and purrayers for him. I'm thinking of taking him to the V-E-T in the morning if there is no resolution this evening.

Angus, buddy, I feel yer pane! I git lots of hareballs myself. I love eeting Petromalt -- and the lady gits me Eukanooba Hairball Remedy food wich I eet like my mowth is a steemshuvvul. And she brushes me with the furminator evry nite so I don't eet so much hare. All theeze things seem to help. But it's always good to have the vet see yoo just to make shur yoo didn't swallow a rubberband.

Dear Angus! Please get better real soon. Did you eat something that you should not have? Have ya pooped today? Being sick is no fun. I know that when I almost died from not eating. Now I am on meds and feelin better than before I got sick. Don't be afriad of going to the VET...it is for the best. Your mommy is very worried about you and I am too. We ALL are.

Hey, Angus, hack up that hairball right now, so you can get to feeling better. I do hope that is all it is. Please do take him to the vet in the morning if things don't change in the meantime. I just read an article that said that these noises can indicate other problems.

I agree with Rocky, I'd see the vet and make sure nothin else is going wrong.

Oh oh, did yoo eat something dat isn't food? We hate to say it but maybe a vet visit is a good idea. Yeah, we don't like to go either but he does seem to help lots of times.

Poor Angus! I hope you feel better already but I think it is a good idea to see the VET! We had a friend once with those symptoms and it turned out he had eaten a LOOOOOOOONG string and was in serious trouble! All turned out well, but he had to stay overnight at the VET.... Get better soon! Purr purr purr purr purr purr

Angus, I am very sorry you are feeling poorly. I am purring and purring for you to feel better soon. I never had a hairball before, but it sounds very terrible.
Angus, I'm soooo sorry you're sick and feel bad...and can't hack up whatever it is. Frankly, I hurl on a regular basis just to clear out my insides. Please go to the vet and have them take a look at you to make sure nothing else is wrong. Better safe than sorry!! Love you dude!

Oh Angus I'm so sorry you're feeling so sick. I just saw on the Cat Blogosphere that you are in the v-e-t hospital. Please, please get well! My little sister Ruckus just came home from the hospital a few days ago and we know how hard it is to be away from your Mom.
