Shhhh! There's a terrorist squirrel out there and the little creep knows I'm stuck inside, so he's sitting on the roof yellin' "Nanny-nanny-boo-boo!" at me. Why did I shush you if I'm inside and he's outside? I know, I obviously can't get to him, so you're not messin' with my mojo. I just want to make sure I hear everything he says for when I DO catch him...so as to "remind" him of what he said when he wants to know why I'm pickin' on 'im. Not that terrorist squirrels deserve decent treatment, but, I'm a decent mancat. So, what are you guys doin' today? Hopefully, I'm gettin' around to all my friends for a visit. You see, my mom has a new-fangled computer with an apple on the lid. It speaks a whole different language than her old laptop, so she's dealing with her brain cells slow uptake of new information..she said the display on her old laptop had developed a lot of "noise" and she was unable to see or read clearly. So, we've not been visitin' so much while she figures out how to work it.

Man squirrels are bad aren't they?
We've been doing our nappng. Cold & dreary out with no sun and a few snow flurries. Only thing to do is nap.
My mommy thought it was a good idea to feed the squirrels so we could watch them from the window. Unfortunately, the neighborhood feral cats also like watching the squirrels much more closely, from the fence beside the squirrel feeder. So now Mommy has to leave food out for the feral cats so they will not be hungry for squirrels. She doesn't want to be the cause of a squirrel massacre.
From Delilah to Angus:
Oh Angus!!! You just won't believe what's going on at our house! I think I might be in trouble of some kind. Can I come stay the week at your place? I could bring my sister Iris with me.. she could help with that terrorist squirrel of yours! Why yesterday she brought a screaming chipmunk into the house and let it go! We could bring it inside for you, and then your mommy would be very proud of you.
Can you bake the apple on the cover of your mommy's computer? Maybe that will help make it run better.

I wonder if that squirrel is cousin to the squirrel that likes to sit on our back deck, a few feet from the kitties as they stare longingly through the screen door--he only seems to come when the kitties are watching, so maybe it is a certain tormenting-prone squirrel family that is responsible for this behavior?
I wish I could help you with the terrorist squirrel, Angus, but I am stuck here on top of the really warm laundry. Someone has to wrinkle it, after all.
