I'm so sorry for you-you're really missing something delish!
This is Ellie.She's the new puppy I told you about last week.
She's an eight-week-old Labrador/Heeler/Alsatian mix...according to her foster family.
I say she's a Leaky Bucket! When she walks away from the water dish, she drips at least a third of what she tried to suck down all over the floor. She's also a little whiny and has weird breath.
So far, I'm careful to stay at least 2 feet above her at all times.
She does this A LOT!
Mom says she'd like to be sleepin' as much as Ellie does. All you mom's know what it's like having a baby in the house. And I'm not just referring to human babies. ANY baby is noisy, hungry, sleepy, and prone to effluvial outbursts from time to time, regardless of genus-species. And the mom's are always short on sleep.
Leeloo's opinion is self-evident.

I fear, gentle Angus, that I am a bit of a messy drinker myself, although otherwise really worth knowing if you're a cat!
Our next door cat, Basha, is dealing with a new pup in Fernant and, so far, things are going well. But Basha is an old paw at this sort of thing...

We do pretty well on the water bowl as long as we aren't super duper thirsty. We can see there is a whole lot of change going on there. Ellie is BEAUTIFUL!!! And Angus, what is wrong with puppy breath? We hear some peeps would love to bottle it.

Does fish tank water taste like tuna juice? Ellie looks cute. Bet she doesn't waste as much water as the horses when they drink though. We have to stand back or we get a shower.
Angus, we bet you could sell that fish tank water on eBay! You would make a fortune in Cat Treats.
As for Ellie, well, we're sorta in Leeloo's corner.

Ellie is a cute woofie. We don't know much about woofies, but she is very cute. Leeloo doesn't look too pleased!! MOL

Based upon my experience with my khousins, Ellie must have some Golden Retriever in her - Khousin Harley rarely remembers to khlose the mouth after leaving the bowl -
I'll have to paw that Ellie about keeping woo under khontrol!

Our neighbor cat only drinks from the waterfall that aerates the fish tank water. They put down a dish of water but he doesn't seem to realize what it is.
