And Nary A Lap To Be Found

Heavens to Mergatroid it's been busy 'round here!
Mom says it's been absolutely nutso crazy, too. Between the Grad Student's Graduation-she's a Master of Somethin' or 'Nother- and Mickey's Graduation and both of 'em havin' birthdays and some of those Sticky Kids havin' Birthdays....SHOO! 'Course, don't forget Mother's Day..and the Sandy Man came home for an extended furlough to help Mickey transition from school to work. All I care about, natch, is the extra nap lap.

In and amongst all the busy-ness, Mom and the Sandy Man have been shepherding Mickey through that whole "transition" thing.
Mickey doesn't savvy "transition" too well. He's a man of routine - a quality not appreciated by some of the new people in his life. So, Mom's been going to meetings and making phone calls and more phone calls and then a few meetings. Have you ever seen the comedy routine where a person begins to sit down in a chair and someone pulls the chair out from under them..causing them to fall to the floor?

Anywhosen, just when I think all the laps are in the proper mode for nappin'-shoot!
I need some help!
I gotta get these people to calm the heck down,
so I can get a decent nap!

I feel your pain. It seems like anytime i want a lap these days, there's a computer on it. What the heck is it with these people? Don't they know that if they make a pap, THEY'LL feel better???

I hope Mickey settles into his new routine soon. It must be hard on your mum.

Maybe you should sprinkle some catnip in their food and see if it calms them down.

Transition is tough for everyone and we understand that it may be more difficult for Mickey. He is so lucky to have a Mom and Dad who are there to help guide him along the way. Hang in there, Angus. Things will settle down - we hope you find a lap soon, if not - head over here and we will see what we can do.

Give 'em your extra sad and needy face and cry!! That ought to get them to slow down and pay attention!

Wowie, it has been wild and wacky at your house! I hope you all can take a deep breath and have some relaxing time soon.

Good luck Mickey! I know how you feel, because I like routine, too. Changes are skerry, but sometimes it turns out that new things are really FUN!

Nothing worse than a change in routine .... we know all about it!

We hope it all sorts itself out soon!

Sometimes big changes, although difficult, can ultimately lead to better things. We hope that is how it is for you all.

take care
