A storm rolled through this evening, teasing us with the smell of rain. The Sandy Man opened all the doors and windows to take advantage of the 25 degree drop in temperature. I took advantage of the open doors to snoof and whiff around.

You can see all the brown leaf detritus in our back yard. No rain.
Friday was NOT a good Mickey-day. I have to say, I don't mind sharing my blog space with mom's updates on him...does it bug you? She says it makes her feel a bit better to let you know what's happening in her world. Anyway, he went walk-about again...crossed a 6 lane street near his workshop. Thankfully, the morning rush was over.
The bus driver didn't let him off at the door.
He's safe, but, SHOO!

Of course we don't mind your mum sharing your blog to talk about Mickey. Talking always helps, it's not good to keep worries bottled up. We need rain here, but we need warm too. It is only 60-65F every day, but no rain.
We have a cooler day here today too, but it won't last long.
And silly, of course we don't mind hearing about Mickey. We are sure there are some in blogville who could offer some helpful advice or at least some support. We are so glad Mickey is OK, but sheesh, stupid bus driver!

You tell your Mom it is a-okay to share whatever parts of all y'alls life she wants. Sharing is important for two-leggeds and four-leggeds alike. One of my four-leggeds like to "share" alot - so much so I can barely get a word in edgewise.
Sharing is good. Prayers for Mickey and Mom and the Sandy-Man and you and Leeloo and the rest of the family.
I understand transitions being tough and they are but we work through and move through them as best we can...
